Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday and to many, it means great food! Great food has always been a Thanksgiving meal tradition. Giving thanks over a wonderful Thanksgiving meal or dinner is always enjoyable. Here is my perfect Southern Thanksgiving meal menu and dinner ham joint in coke slow cooker.

Apples are not just for dessert. Their sweet and tart flavor foils the saltiness and fattiness of meat, especially pork. The same flavor combination happens when applesauce is served with pork chops. A grilled cheese and ham sandwich is ideal for using up leftovers from a honey-cooking ham in a crock pot, but sliced ham from the deli or cold cuts will readily substitute in a pinch.

This amazing cooking ham Pinot Noir is from one of my personal favorite wineries Cancilla Cellars which is located in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon that I call home.

If wine is a part of the party, have 2 or 3 choices available, along with a non-alcoholic type. Blush wines, white wines and red wines are all good choices for your party and they come in many, many different varieties. Your choices in finding a good wine for your party are limited only by your imagination.

C@ffeine is kid friendly you can bring your year old in and let him explore A christmas ham parent can come in sit down and relax and let their kids play with the owner's children and no one will kick you out! The owners, Nichole and Adam Clampet, usually have their own children at the shop, playing and having a good time greeting customers.

After church, we would go home and hide Easter eggs. This was usually a family event as well as a neighborhood event. The kids and grownups would take turns hiding the eggs, and it was always a thrill to hide an egg that nobody could find. A few times I forgot where I hid them and they were not found until the next year. When I was a child, we did not have the plastic eggs to hide. We had to hide the real eggs that we had colored the night before. By the end of the day, the eggs were all cracked and dirty. Not many of them were actually ever eaten.

Using some of these dos and don'ts when planning your next Christmas party should help you have a successful, fun-filled Christmas party, enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
